Classes being offered: 4- 6 dogs,  8 dogs & 1-2 dog skijor  - 15 miles

Time:     7:00 - 7:30 check in.
              8:00 Mandatory Drivers meeting.
              9:AM start, 4-6 dogs will go out first, then the 8 dogs, followed by the skijorers.

Entries:  Pre-registration ONLY! Click here for the registration form We will not take any entries after February 19th, so get those entries in!!
Limited to 15 dog trucks for parking reasons.

Fees:  Each entry will be $25.00. You must also have a current membership with North Country Mushers. Please be sure to read North Country Mushers Code Of Ethics.

The trail will not be closed to other users. It will be posted a week earlier on the trail to warn snowmobiles of the upcoming race.  Strongly encouraged that lead dogs wear something bright, mandatory that all drivers wear a brightly colored jacket/vest.

Mandatory Gear: Each sled should have a working brake, snow hook & sled bag. To be carried on the person or in the sled: Fire starter, knife & working headlamp.

Volunteering:   We will need volunteers to make this race possible. We need people to help hold sleds at the start, and people to help get the teams to the start. Would you like to help out? If so please e-mail Marsha for more info.

Prizes:  Trophies will be given out.

Note: Mushers cannot run on these trails before or after this race. We will be holding this race on private land, and we have only been given permission to run on these trails at said time.

Directions:

From the North travel south on Route 16 to Chocorua Village take a right onto 113 West travel 2.7 miles to Tamworth 4 Corners- take a right at the stop sign onto Route 113A/Chinook Trail and stay on that road until you reach the Chapel.
 
From Route 25 heading east from Moultonborough take second left (after traveling through South Tamworth)  - onto Route 113/Whittier Road -  0.3 miles, take next left onto Tamworth Road travel 2 miles to Tamworth 4 Corners, at the 4 Corners stay straight onto Route 113A/Chinook Trail and stay on that road until you reach the Chapel.
 
Route 25 heading East into Center Harbor at the second traffic light take a left onto Bean Road  for 7.8 miles to Center Sandwich.  At the stop sign go right and then take your next left at the Corner House Inn onto Route 113 for 3.6 miles.  Yield onto Route 113A and stay on that road until you reach the Chapel.

The race will be starting/finishing at the Chapel. The land owner has requested that we stay off the field and stay only on the snowmobile packed trail. So please use caution while at this race.
