Northome Mark CGC, RN, SDO

How we got him: We got Mark from Al & Ann Stead of Northome Kennel in Minnesota. Ann e-mailed me and said that she thought Mark would be a good addition to our kennel. We are very glad that we got him.

How he got his name: Mark was named for the black marks on his ears.

Training and showing: Scott trained Mark in obedience. First they earned his Canine Good Citizen title. Then they earned his Rally Novice title. Two of his legs were picked up at the National in 2006, his third leg was earned at our Yankee Siberian Husky Specialty show in 2007.

Mark has a couple of legs towards his Working Pack Dog title.

Career in harness: Mark is an incredible sled dog. Always hard working and fast. I'm sure Mark will race on Scott's team for many years to come. Mark has his Sled Dog Outstanding title. He is one of the dogs we fight over who gets to run him. Scott does not like giving him up, and I also enjoy running him.

Some more about him: Mark loves everyone he meets. He enjoys playing with other dogs, and is good with young puppies. When he gets happy his feet pump in the air. He is a goofy dog, and we love him to pieces. Mark enjoys giving a kiss on command.

His best friend: Mark loves everybody, but Beth is his best friend.

His favorite thing: Mark loves toy balls and playing with people.
