Koda is looking for a good home.
Koda is a gray & white neutered male, he will be 4 years old June 29th. His sire is Orion and his dam is Coyuk. He is a handsome guy who needs a home with no small children and no cats. His family did not want to give him up, but his mom has been in the hospital for 4 months now. He is a little out of shape and could use a family who likes to go for walks. I have been told that Koda likes being the in the house, and he is pretty calm when inside, but he will go on furniture. He has a couple of weird personality traits. The first one is that he needs to be woken up by voice command and not by touch. His new owners have to understand that he cannot be touched while sleeping (this is why I do not want a home with small children). The second thing I do not like is that he is food aggressive. He could probably be trained out of this behavior with time. Koda loves people, he enjoys being patted and loved. He was raised with other dogs, and I feel that he would be ok living with a female dog, or in a home as a single dog. Koda is not enjoying kennel life, and he wants to be back in a house.
